I'm surprised no one has started up this topic yet I think its one of the more popular couples because of their interaction through the series while Kari didnt take Davis seriously at first occasionally teasing him with TK and making him jealous by flirting with him slowly Davis began to mature and become less possesive of Kari not calling her 'his girl' and such stuff they began to get along more.

Davis and Kari I believe became closer friends after the Digimon emperor arc and Kari began to realise what a nice guy Davis really is sure she was still close with TK and all after all she already did have an adventure with him but she also begun to become closer with Davis and tried to understand where he was coming from when he wanted to forgive Ken and he understood that she wasnt ready to forgive him in the episode Spirit Needle when they were in class.

However, Kari also forgave Ken when he helped them and he apologised to them in the original he apologised in the dub I cant remember my memory has gone hazy on me yeah in the original Ken apologised to them and Davis and Kari exchanged a glance as if they were silently communicating with one another.

Also when Ken and Davis returned with Imperialdramon in 'Dramon Power' Kari was really happy to see Davis in Dutch dub and in the original. In US Dub she was also happy to see Ken. There are a lot of reasons why I ship Daikari one its interesting and more fun to write about than Takari. Two I dont need to use their crests to put them together all the time I hear they are hope and light and should be together which tells me both Kari and TK have no minds of their own and simply follow what their crests tell them. Another reason I ship Daikari is TK and Kari are too alike as people say they have a lot in common while with Davis and Kari they are opposites and can balance each other out ever heard of the saying 'opposites attract' yeah Kari could calm Davis's hyperactiveness down while Davis could get Kari to be a little more high spirited.

Yes but TK and Kari are too alike so if they did get together it wouldnt last ;D

I think they both are quite caring actually. TK cares for everyone especially his brother you can tell.

yes you are right they are very similar but I still think they would go well together because they had very good chemistry and no I am not a Takari fan who touts destiny I don't even believe in destiny

Ok as a Daikari fan I admit if Kari doesnt get with Davis my second choice would be TK.

alternatives? I cant see her with Izzy sorry to Mrs. Izumi if I had to pair Izzy up with anyone I would see him with Sora or Mimi or one of the international Digidestined. But Kari either with Davis or TK.

Davis/Kari is, as a rule, (and in my opinion), much funnier than T.K./Kari is, much like I find Tai/Sora to be funnier and more realistic somehow than Matt/Sora (I like Adventure and 02 both, but the original Adventure a bit moreso).

I like semi-dysfunctional pairings like that more than the so-called "canon truths" of T.K./Kari and Matt/Sora -- in other media, the same can be said for Cloud/Yuffie (FFVII), Naruto/Sakura and Naruto/Isaribi (when compared with Naruto/Hinata), Luffy/Nami (One Piece), Ed/Riza (FullMetalAlchemist), and so on and so forth.

Also, on the Crest argument, while I borderline understand SOME of the Hope/Light argument, I think that Miracles/Light is better, Hope being more of a support (in the style of "If you dare hurt my ex-girlfriend and her boyfriend, I'll boot ya to the far side of the moon!). Same thing: Courage and Love make more sense to me than do Friendship and Love; after all, aren't Love and Friendship different methods of expressing the same (or at the very least, similar) emotional sentiment?

A. Takari is not a canon truth the creators decided not to put Kari with anybody B. Kari and Daisuke wouldn't be semi-dysfunctional C. as much as I hate to say it Miracles isn't a crest

A: by "canon truth", I mean that it appears to have more evidence in support of it canonically than does Davis/Kari.

B: More semi-dysfunctional than T.K./Kari, but then again, I have incredibly strange connotations. When I say semi-dysfunctional, I mean it more along the lines of "hilarity ensues".

C: I have issues with canon. In my various fictional universes, Miracles IS a Crest, Sora generally hooks up with Tai instead of Matt, and all of the original 8 DigiDestined were able to reach the Ultimate and Mega Levels throughout the entirety of Adventure 02 when not in range of a Control Spire.

Reasoning for that last bit? Well, I'll start a new topic or something here in a bit.
