the original is normally the best but some anime are better in the second season(Code Geass cimes to mind)

but more often than not the first is the best or is thought to be the best due to the majority's skepticism and scrutiny of the second one

which is what brought Tamers and Frontier under fire people were expecting another 01 and they didn't get it but when they finally got it(Savers basically was a crappier 01) they realized that new stuff isn't always horrible

Yeah at first I wouldn't watch tamers and frontier now I like them nearly as much as 01 and 02 but nothing will bring them down! ;D
