Yes he died protecting both Gatomon and Kari but he only wanted to protect Kari as well because he knew she was an important person to Gatomon so his main wish was Gatomon being reunited with Kari.
About Patamon being gay do you have something against homosexuals? Because Patamon and Veemon have a good interaction in the show.
And Catherine is the same age as T.K. so she would fit better with him than with Tai no offence.

I have nothing against homosexuals and as far I can tell Patamon and Veemon only interacted on episode 7 of 02, after that they didn't had much interaction since Patamon always was hanging out with Gatomon or battling with her due to that their armor forms had the golden noose attack, plus after Ken's defeat and after Paildramon's debut, Davis and Veemon were more with Ken and Wormmon than with the others, you did saw how Davis was the first one trying to get Ken to join the team.
About Wizardmon no offense but that made him sound selfish, I mean protecting Kari because she was important for Gatomon. So if Kari wouldn't have been important for Gatomon, he would had let Kari to die? o.o
I know Catherine is the same age of TK but Tai didn't seemed to mind that, also look at Ken and Yolei. Yolei is older than Ken by one year, I even remember that Yolei said her mother was older than her father by a couple of years or so, so that doesn't matters much. Tai is just 3 years older than Catherine.
Another good example is Joe with Mimi, Joe is 2 years older than Mimi and yet no one has problems pairing them ^^

No its just Wizardmon didnt personally know Kari and lets face it Wizardmon didnt seem too close to anyone but Gatomon he stuck by her no matter what and I accept you dislike Wizardmon but please I don't bash Patamon so you just leave our awesome wizard alone.
You must be a Takari fan they're the only ones who complain about T.K. kissing Catherine.

hey when I did bashed Wizardmon? you can't blame me for thinking it sounded a bit selfish that he saved Kari because she was important for Gatomon, it wasn't with intention of bashing him. Also as I told you before I did wrote a WizGato one-shot fic, I even have it here on this same board: digimonalways.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=fiction&action=display&thread=19it even has a Patamon/Veemon friendly talk so you can't say I hate Wizardmon/WizGato. And what if I'm a Takari fan? and I'm not complaining about TK kissing Catherine, what I don't like is how he is attacked with that when Tai kissed her too at the exact same time and no one says anything against Tai, they pin it all on TK like if he did commited a sin or something |

I'm sorry then it just seems you act as if Gatomon didnt care about Wizardmon at all I get defensive over those two that's all and I won't take Wizardmon being shown badly because him and Gatomon are awesome and need one another. About Takari meh I don't really care I usually write Daikari though because its more fun to work around with those two seperately and as a couple.

I never said Gatomon doesn't cares about Wizardmon but no one said she can't find in her heart a space to care for other digimon, I mean, after Wizardmon died, she gained to finally meet with the person she searched for so long, then she gained friends. You have to admit that whenever Patamon and Gatomon battled together they were quite a good team and for that they need to get along well. They have a good chemistry, I mean in episode 13 of 02, Patamon noticed that something was bothering Gatomon and he asked her what's wrong. Gatomon rather that ignore him or reply to him in a bad way, she told him about Kari being strange lately. True, she then dismissed it as maybe being her imagination but yet there is the fact that she did shared her worries with Patamon. That's why I can see Patamon did matured, in the japanese version of episode 7 of 02 after the fake coin incident between Davis and TK, Patamon who was walking behind with Veemon said that all that was a waste of time. In my very humble opinion Patamon does knows when it is time to play and when it is time to be serious  |

Well at least Rose Lily is more neutral, I mean she isn't biased ^^
I agree with Rose too, both WizGato and PataGato can work, each on their own special way. I mean in any case Gatomon gets a nice caring mon who will give all the love she deserves ^^
