The PataGato topic is up so why not put a better couple such as VeeGato ;D they are opposites to one another and I think they could pair up as partners but I dont mind Patamon just dont see him with Gatomon you know very unrealistic besides Patamon is smaller it would be slightly be weird. Plus Veemon is more cheerful while Gatomon well she's gotten her playful and cheerfulness taken away because of Myotismon so he could bring her to be more happy personally I think VeeGato is more likely to happen than PataGato if it does however it is only an opinion.

I'm with Magna on that, height has nothing to do with love, just ask WizGato fans about it and see what they tell you XD
And PataGato isn't unrealistic neither, every couple has the same chances to work if they're handled correctly by the fans but sadly it is a thing it doesn't happens often.
I respect VeeGato but one thing Mimi, I don't want you to insult Patamon on your posts please. You can state your opinion but don't you go with that of VeeGato better than PataGato nor use superficial things like height.
Also you didn't even prove why PataGato is unrealistic neither. That's my issue with a good number of VeeGato fans, they never give well in depth reasons on why VeeGato work or why PataGato is unrealistic, only exception is a girl I met on Digimania recently, she must be the first one who gives a good in depth reason on why VeeGato could work.
So please Mimi I didn't insulted VeeGato in the PataGato topic nor said PataGato is better than VeeGato so you don't go and say VeeGato is better, you like VeeGato and that's okay but you don't have to go and attack other couples in that way.

These are the reasons why I believe that VeeGato is more reasonable (not necessarily BETTER, just more reasonable/likely):
1. As Mimi so excellently pointed out, Veemon is cheerful by nature, while Patamon isn't -- or ar least, not to as great of an extent.
2. In my relatively but not quite humble opinion, too many people pair Patamon and Gatomon (and by extension, T.K. and Kari) together because they both have Angelic Digivolution lines. I think that Flamedramon/Angewomon (as a Digivolved example) would be much more interesting (and less cliche) than Angemon/Angewomon or MagnaAngemon/Angewomon.
3. Maybe it's just my perspective, but T.K. and Kari seemed more along the lines of just good friends to me.

Meh I prefer WizGato but I think Patamon is very cheerful and also hopeful of course thats just an opinion.

Patamon is cheerful too. Is just that he has a better control on when is the right moment to be playful and when is moment to be serious, I mean look at episode 22, he danced with Gatomon happily. Also don't confuse cheerful with hyper which is what Veemon is. In a good way, Veemon is kind of hyper and happy go lucky. That's the difference between him and Patamon but love is much more than just that. it involves a connection with the one you love. I really don't see much cliche on Angemon and Angewomon, mostly since the fics I have seen, they handle them as if they were humans. Not all of them mention the crests. Also what is more cliched? pairing them because both are angels but at least they have a long going friendship? or making Gatomon realize she loves Veemon just because he took an attack for her or because she takes interest on him after Gennai or a prophecy tells them that Veemon is the most powerful digimon ever? In any pairing there will be always a bit of cliche. No pairing is excent of that. But if we make an effort to handle the romance correctly and in a good in depth way, any pairing can be enjoyable.  |
